Dr. Stefano Bozzo-DC

History
As a student, I was actively involved in extra-curricular education, both as a learner and instructor, focusing on chiropractic adjusting techniques, soft tissue therapies, and spine rehabilitation. I remain committed to continuing education and further developing my manual skills in order to provide the best possible care to my patients.
education
I graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo in 2007, and went on to complete my Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) Degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto. I graduated in 2011 with Clinic Honours, and received the Michael Brickman Memorial Award for dedication and outstanding proficiency in Chiropractic Adjusting Technique.
technique
A firm believer in a team based approach to health care, I have practiced in a multidisciplinary setting since 2011.

I resolve to achieve the maximum possible benefit in the shortest possible time. For example, a typical acute low back pain treatment plan may have the patient treated twice per week for 2-4 weeks, then once per week for another 2-4 weeks. Through the proper combination of techniques, more then 8 weeks of treatment is rarely needed. Every case is different, so I employ a variety of techniques to effectively treat both new injuries and chronic pain conditions.

I find most conditions respond well to a combination of hands-on joint manipulations/adjustments, various muscles release techniques, and contemporary electro-acupuncture. I introduce an active home stretching and exercise plan as soon as possible, which is aimed at getting you pain free and back to your activities, while keeping you strong to prevent re-injury.
